Why is the course website labelled "not secure" by my browser?

The learning management system provider that hosts our course online does not support hypertext transfer protocol. Browsers will warn users when sites they are visiting are not hypertext transfer protocol secure, however this non secure connection does not put you at rick. No personal information is stored in the learning management system and your computer will not be impacted by the non-secure connection to the site.
