Most teach abroad jobs require a Bachelor's degree, but some do not. Different parts of the world have stricter requirements than others.
Candidates without a degree will go up against candidates who do so here are some ways to remain competitive:
- Get a recognized ESL certificate (such as TEFL). This goes a long way towards securing a teach abroad job. Check out our online TEFL certification courses for a quick and easy way to get qualified.
- Volunteer to get teaching experience. The hours spent helping out at an ESL summer camp will boost your profile when you apply for paid positions.
