The methods used for assessing students on the OISE TEFL course
Students are assessed through written assignments (journal reflections) and tests, with one of each per unit in the course.
- Reflection journals are written responses to questions posed throughout a unit
- End-of-unit tests will be multiple choice that assesses your understanding of the unit
Cumulative Final Test
- The final test will cover all units and must be completed after students have finished all the units
How tests are graded
All test/exams are multiple-choice. Tests and assignments are marked pass/fail and the passing grade is 70%. In the event that a student fails a test or assignment, they can re-attempt it as many times as needed to achieve a passing grade.
