Your Teach Away Profile is part of a proactive application process. Once it's ready, you need to apply directly to the jobs you're interested in on our jobs board. We do not pair teachers with a personal recruiter who applies for them.
It can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks for our Placement Coordinators to review your application for "Direct to School" positions. If you are moving ahead in the hiring process, you will hear back from a coordinator about setting up an interview.
For non-"Direct to School" jobs, you will be contacted by the school directly and we cannot say how long it will take them to review your application as each school has its own hiring timelines.
Due to the number of applications we receive, we are not able to contact all the candidates who are not moving forward in the hiring process.
You are able to see the status of your application from your profile dashboard. This will be the most up-to-date information about your applications. If you reach out to a Teach Away customer representative via email or phone, they will not able to provide you with any further status updates than what is already in your dashboard.
