# Who will pay for my work visa?

In most cases, teachers are responsible for the costs of obtaining a work visa, and any related or authenticated documentation. Please keep this in mind when you are applying for positions as the inability to pay will prevent you from being able to accept a position.

However, on occasion, the school that has hired you will assist with visa costs. If so, this is typically mentioned in the "Job Benefits" section of any job listing.
