I'm not able to apply for a job due to my teacher category.

When you sign up for Teach Away, we ask you to sort yourself into a certain category such as "Licensed/Certified Teacher" or "New Graduate".

We do this so we can have a better understanding of what jobs you qualify for.

However, we know some teachers qualify under different categories.

After clicking "Apply" on a job, a notice may pop up that states your category does not match the job you are applying for.

If you do, in fact, qualify for this position because you fall under multiple categories, then you change your category in your profile.

Navigate to your profile and click on the pencil icon next to your profile picture.

You will be taken to a page called "Profile Summary". At the top of the page, there will be a field that reads: "What job category best describes you?"

This is where you can change your category. After that, click "Save My Account" at the bottom of the page and return to the job posting to reapply.
